New wires, new plugs, same problem. By the look of the plug, thought it might be a stuck open / leaking / failed injector. Replaced the injector. no change. Checked ignition coils. Secondary coils are within reference range of 11.3-15.3 kOhm. However, primary is slightly out of range (ref range is 0.7-0.86 kOhm)
Misfire on one or more cylinders detected. Spark plug, injector, cylinder compression or air intake problem; primary circuit problem in one or both ignition coils Code 45.....Transaxle fault present in transmission control module - Automatic transaxles
It came back with three codes: P0304: Cylinder 4 Misfire Detected. P0134: o2 Sensor Circuit No Activity Detected (Bank 1, Sensor 1) P0135: o2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1, Sensor 1) I went ahead and cleared the CEL and started it up for a second to rev the engine. It seemed to run like normal.
i have a stock 97 gst spder with a misfire i replaced sparckplugs sparplug wires ignition coils cam shaft sensor crankshaft sensor car runs great no misfire while it runs but after a 40 mile drive and let it iddle for about 5 mins it missfires any ideas...
A bad front pump can cause you to not shift gears, and leaking from the input shaft seal often accompanies a bad pump. Many things can cause the transmission not to shift, such as a faulty TCU, bad shift solenoid or wiring, stuck valve, and worn clutch packs. Limp mode will result in your being stuck in second.
Hi everyone, I know there are threads on stuff like this but my issue is very odd and specific. Basically, every morning I start my car (2g with 6 bolt swap) it will start and run on 3 cylinders. Once the car runs for a few seconds, I shut it off and restart and the misfire goes away. I get a...
joe said: Since you mentioned the timing belt being loose..I have heard that if one of your intake exhaust cams are off 1 tooth it will cause your multiple cyclinder misfire CEL. Why not. Anyway, if you gapped your plugs @ 0.28 pull then and recheck and regap them again.
After I did a oil change and nothing else was touched. Fill motor with 4 quarts of oil, idle the car for 5 minutes and these codes show up.(P0304- cylinder 4 misfire and P0325- Knock sensor bank 1 mulfunction)My car drives fine, did a 2k-4k 3rd gear pull and logger shows a drop in timming...
I had a misfire code for the last year. Mind you, on dsms a blinking light means active misfire, while a steady light means misfire detected. Mine only blinks at idle, and as soon as I move it stops,. Got a compression test done (that's your best bet), and cyl 3 is only at 50, 80 wet. However, she runs great.
swap your #1 and #2 plugs. If the misfire goes to cyl 2 then you will need plugs. If it stays at 1 then its not your plugs. Stick a screwdriver in your spark plug wire and lay it next to a ground, crank the engine. If you see spark coil pack is good. if you dont have a noid checker then also swap cyl 1 injector to another one and see if the ...
