Greetings, I recently upgraded to Windows 10 on my Surface Pro 3. I could not get my Cisco VPN to work afterward and ended up having to revert to Windows 8.1, uninstall the Cisco VPN client, upgrade to Windows 10 and then install the VPN client. All seemed good to go but when I allow the...

Seems if you had the Cisco VPN Client installed in Windows 8.1 and then upgraded to Windows 10 the issue I'm having can happen. One solution is to roll back to 8.1, remove Cisco VPN and then update to Windows 10. The command line fix noted in the article did not work for me as the reg entry could not be found - HELP

"On 64-bit Windows 8, the browser frame process (both “modern UI” and Desktop) runs 64-bit. However, for compatibility with plug-ins, IE 10 on the desktop runs 32-bit tabs by default. If the user turns on “Enhanced Protected Mode” in Internet Options, Advanced; they will have 64-bit tabs by default for IE 10 on the Desktop."
Would appreciate any links you know of regarding connecting Surface Pro 2 though a Cisco VPN. I've seen Surface Pro 1 running on our VPN but not the Pro 2 and I know IT has just starting purchasing the Pro 2. I'm now also wondering if there were Cisco VPN issues that were unique to any Surface Pro 2. We are running Windows 8.1.
I recently received a brand new Surface Pro 6 at work - the new i7 processor, 8gb RAM, 256gb SSD, Window 10 Pro. Other than taking it out of the box, the only thing that the IT department at my company did was add an active directory/domain so that I can login using my work credentials, as well as access our servers via VPN.
I had this issue with a Surface Pro 3 in an Enterprise environment and all I did was connect the Surface Pro 3 to a Surface Dock and PXE boot to the Enterprise Windows 10 image and it successfully booted to Windows 10 after the image completed. Hope this somehow helps.
Just upgraded the Surface Pro 3 to Windows 10 before the free upgrade deadline. The upgrade went thru fine but he pen is not working. I can only double click on the purple button twice to launch the Note program but I can't use the pen as a mouse at all.
