Since my in-laws are in town the wife has informed me that we are going to the Ga. Aquarium tommorow. Anyway just wondering if they are still doing that and if any of you were able to carry in. I hate leaving it in the car. Please don't tell me that I can't carry because of the No Guns Allowed sign that they may or may not have posted.

I was watching a documentary on Georgia aquarium and it was quite impressive that they trained their fish in a 6.3 million gallon tank to come to a certain feeding station using colored signs. For example, they would hand a red sign over the aquarium which would signal to stingray to come to the feeding station, a green sign would bring tuna etc.

I've been to lots of aquariums including the SC Aquarium and the Georgia Aquarium. Even comparing them with each other I think the SC Aquarium is much better. As ruvidu mentioned the mountains to the sea layout is a great concept. If you live in Greenville and are into aquariums then a trip to the one in Charleston is a must.

60,646. Location. Lake Saint Louis, Mo. Rating - 0%. 0 0 0. Shedds is impressive and not far from the Field museum and navy pier. Never been to the national aquarium. The Georgia aquarium is nice and has an impressive large tank with a whale shark and larger species of open water fish. It's huge!
