Payroll cannot talk to employees directly on the phone. We have no way to verify that you are who you say you are on the phone and payroll information is considered confidential. The only way you can contact payroll is to have your manager/supervisor put in an inquiry or adjustment. The exception is the garnishment department.

The number varies all over the country. I take it you put your application in online. They will contact you if there interested in hiring you .
You have to call corporate/regional Human Resources and they start the process. Local HR is utterly useless in this regard and pretty much everything else, other than stopping United Way contributions. They send the FMLA forms for you to have your doc fill out.
