"The abandoned Builders Square store, located across the street from Meyerland Plaza, is being demolished and replaced with a Lowe's Home Improvement store. The 150,000-square-foot Lowe's store will be built on a 14.8-acre site that Lowe's is leasing at the southeast corner of the West Loop and Beechnut. The new store will open in late 2002.
Lowe's and Home Depot carry them; don't know if they install them or not. According to what I've read on the internet, installation is a two-man job and you might need to re-frame the opening and replace the trim.
Most of the cooktops I see at Sears/HD/Lowe's, and all the cheaper ones, don't seem to have downflow venting. Our current cooktop has a downflow vent, but it's never worked since we've owned the house and we haven't seen the need for it.

Believe it or not, Lowe's (!!) carries a few Cork styles/colors in a modern click-lock sandwich-laminate (cork glued to a laminate core), so installation is easy. The solid core means it won't hold dents from furniture, and it sells for under $5 sq/ft.
