August 25–29 – Tropical Storm Isaac passed just southwest of Key West, although its effects in the Florida Keys were minimal. Across southern Florida, Isaac dropped heavy rainfall in southern Florida, reaching 15.86 inches (403 mm) in Loxahatchee. The storm also spawned five tornadoes.
