Select any mod pack from the mod packs section of the CorseForge application and log in to the game. After that, the Minecraft Launcher application will open, enter the settings tab at the bottom left of the application menu and log in with your Microsoft account. The same thing happens to me but it says exit code -1, I reinstalled java several times, updated drivers, even restarted the PC from 0 and it doesn't let me play Minecraft from 1.20 onwards or with heavy mods.
All you need to do is go to Forge 1.18.2 and press + Show all Version, scroll down and install 40.0.24. After that, install (dont press download, press Mirror which is next to the download button) the 1.18.2 Optifine HD U H7 file and extract that into your mod folder. (ALWAYS INSTALL FORGE FIRST BEFORE OPTIFINE).

We have confirmed their minecraft launches without curseforge. All mods and files are the same between all of us so there is no outdated mods or differences. Exit code -1 is usually a memory error, so either Minecraft is fighting for RAM or the RAM has a bad section that needs to be addressed. i have the same problem. cant figure out how to fix it. I had this issue when I tried to add Just Enough Items to my cobblemon modpack so it may be mod related?
Using Curseforge I tried to launch my modded game, but after it loads for a couple of seconds it crashes saying Exit code: 1. I have tried updating drivers and changing the Java Executable Path, but still crashed. This is the crash log.
It might crash the game if you try to load the Embeddium mod on any version higher than 2.1.0. Make sure you delete that version and re download Embeddium on 2.1.0 or before. If not done then Embeddium will always crash the game when on the saving world screen.
