It depends really on your area. It's either in home delivery or third party delivery from several apps. You should have the option of putting in your tip when you place your order. Or you can give an additional cash tip that isn't on the records. Either way there are real costs and real people.

  3. Cards that consider 3+% at Walmart for Groceries & Gas

Redemption is in the form of gift cards powered by raise. If only the TYP earning version of that card was more widely available it would've made the list. Venmo card gives 3% at Walmart, Costco, Restaurant Depot, etc. Make sure you have at least one grocery item on the trip. Does not work for online purchases.

South_Scale_2721. •. No. The only reason you got the Walmart+ service was to avoid being charged $9.95 for every time you order a grocery delivery. You paid $49 or $99 depending on the promotion you had. I'm not sure how being able to order fresh food twice a week from a grocery app for $99 a year isn't valuable.

I’ve been using WM+ for quite a while. I love it. Yes, it costs $98 a year plus $40 for the no tip option. The groceries get delivered into my garage with my key code and I love it. I do not have to be home for the deliveries and I don’t have to tip the driver.

Walmart Grocery Pickup and Pending Charges. Several months ago we started to use Walmart for grocery pickup. We noticed something strange happen about 2/3 of the times we used them. We create the order and we’re charged. The charge shows up in our bank account as pending and the total is removed from our available balance.

  7. Is there a way to earn 4X points at Walmart with the gold card?

    www.reddit.com/.../14zmeyw/is_there_a_way_to_earn_4x_points_at_walmart_with

Anything done online, even if you set the pickup location to a Walmart grocery rather than super Walmart, will code as ‘general merchandise’ and won’t get 4x. Buying food at the super Walmarts will also code as ‘general merchandise’. In person, green Walmart. Edit since you edited- ya looks like you are SOL on that one, sorry to say.

Tipping on Walmart Plus Deliveries. Just signed up for the free trial for Walmart Plus. I’ve done Grocery Pickup primarily since the pandemic started and only have gone into the store once, and that was for the pharmacy. The time saved by getting deliveries will be huge. However, I’m confused about being asked to tip the driver for the ...

    www.reddit.com/r/walmart/comments/vbhaxx/if_i_refund_items_on_a_grocery...

Today I ordered groceries and it was the worst experience so far. Person dropped off my items and approximately 25% of it was completely missing. I ended up doing a refund of $40 out of $220 for missing items. And then reordering same day using their most expensive delivery out of spite (I'm Walmart+ so it is free to me).

  10. Does anybody else have problems with Walmart Delivery?

    www.reddit.com/r/AustinGroceryFinds/comments/od8vqc/does_anybody_else_have...

I've ordered from the Walmart at Southpark Meadows 3 times now, and each time it keeps getting worse. I order good mix of produce, bakery, juice, dry goods, raw chicken, and RTE/Snack foods (Ready-to-Eat) for $53-$87 each time (never raw beef or pork). First time Missing: Beef bologna (sliced to order from deli 1,08lbs).

  11. Question about substitutions in grocery pickup : r/walmart -...

    www.reddit.com/r/walmart/comments/kdanhu/question_about_substitutions_in...

It’s not hard to reject subs carside. It just sucks doing all the returns later from the 20-30 items we picked for people because they had subs on but didn’t want it. Also doing a return on food after you have picked up is a financial loss to the store, we don’t get reimbursed by the manufacture of the items you return.
