I remember watching both on Disney Channel when I was younger. I’m doing a double feature of Flight of the Navigator and the Black Hole. Watched Captain Marvel, Pocahontas 2, The Three Caballeros, Live Lady and the Tramp, Olaf's Winter Adventure and Snow White. Haven't had much time, and there is still a ton to watch.
When i was watching a movie & show earlier it looks like the graphics got a bit enhanced since it looks like movies & shows look so much better now & run smoother so its almost like they updated the 4K quality a bit to make it look even more cleaner so who knows if this means the Hulu merge is almost complete since they probably want Hulu content to run smooth & look phenomenal.
The integration will work whether they are both the same (i.e. both ad-supported or ad-free) or if you have a mix. If you have a mix, you will see ads based on the origin of the content (i.e. if you have ad-free Disney+, but ad-supported Hulu then Disney+ content will continue to stream ad-free while Hulu content will play with ads).
Edit my reasoning before everyone jumps in their feelings: Disney Bundle Trio Premium is $17.99 Netflix (standard) is $15.49 Max (ad-free) is $15.99 Peacock premium is $5.99 Paramount + with Showtime is $11.99 Starz is $8.99 I like to watch local channels so I would need Hulu + Plus Live TV or YouTube TV Hulu + Plus Live TV is $76.99 YouTube TV ...
Let's take a newer 40-minute show (not counting credits) like 'Echo'. One commercial before it starts (30 secs), then four breaks during the show (1:30 secs each). The four are before the end credits run. So we're talking a commercial every 8-10 minutes. The time between breaks can vary by a minute or two.
Plus, the time between breaks varies by 1 or 2 minutes. It's very possible to get a break after only 7 or 8 minutes in some cases. The best response to companies pushing ads on paid tiers is to just cancel. People bought into cable because it was ad-free. Then they brought in ads and kept jacking up the price.
Disney Plus (4K) Tubi Peacock TLDR: Browsers are fine they can do 4k playback but they don't support the same DRM as UWP app. And Disney is the problem. Disney doesn't allow any of their media to be played at anything beyond 720p (Movies Anywhere, Hulu, Disney+) on a Windows PC

The Disney Plus password-sharing crackdown starts in June. Especially when they didn't allow Spider-Man picture on the kids grave. That's just ridiculous. I recently got a QNAP 4 BAY NAS and four 16TB iron wolf PRO HDDs and set up Plex. No more streaming services and it's superior to them all.
Mandalorian, The Bad Batch, LOKI, Rebels, Falcon and the Winter Solider, Milo Murphy’s Law, Phineas and Ferb. Gargoyles is an excellent series I highly recommend. :) What country are you in BTW, because I think that's one of the Star shows. (So, Hulu in the US) High School Musical The Musical The Series.
