If you type in “speak to agent” if connects you to a real person rather than the bot. The wait is usually less than 5 mins, though due to Black Friday it’s been longer lately. I usually just leave a tab open with the chat and go about doing my work, and get back to it when I hear a ping notifying that the agent is in the chat

When I opened a venmo account it was suspended after 4 small transactions to my kids coach when I called up they said it was for security reasons and the computer decided that. They couldn't help me. But after 4 months I was able to use it again it was crazy. Once you get paid thru venmo get the money out of there. Piece of mind is better.

Just type “live agent” when asked. I called this morning and it connect to an agent pretty fast ( did not have to wait at all).
