But cool to know there is another useful drug for metastatic cancers! PS My darling Cocker-Schitzu dog had an aggressive anal gland cancer, had surgery and radiation and is pushing the year-and-a half timeperiod that the vets figure she'd have before the cancer comes back. So I'm definitely going to go out and pick up some fenbendazole for her!!

Anyway, when I read through other people's posts I felt this weird thing, hope. So many have been going along, doing what needs to be done, surviving, living with metastatic breast cancer. Then I thought maybe by talking about how I'm still still here 9 years later (first felt symptoms June 2011), I can do the same for someone else.
The way I see it, according to the definition above, early stage breast cancer can be cured before it gets to stage IV. After that, it is treated for control only, because the disease is still around, settled in the bones, liver, brain or elsewhere. It seems accurate to say that BC can be cured.
