I've noticed that the news anchors on channel 4 have been reporting local sports news this month. IIRC, channel 4 had 3 sports anchors (Dave Johnson, Cary Chow and Moises Linares). They all can't be sick or on vacation. If they were, channel 4 would usually bring in a sports reporter from the NBC Sports Washington cable channel.
And the fact that NBC Sports and the Olympics pages on youtube pulled the full opening ceremony for the 2024 Olympics from their roster just goes to show they too knew they screwed up. And oh, the man behind all this is named Thomas Jolly. I also wonder if there really was a black out last night in Paris.
In 2003, Wade Exum, the United States Olympic Committee's director of drug control administration from 1991 to 2000, gave copies of documents to Sports Illustrated that revealed that some 100 American athletes failed drug tests from 1988 to 2000, arguing that they should have been prevented from competing.

I'm glad the Women's Gymnastic events are finished, they are my favorite Olympic event. I'm not able to watch during the day so I watched NBC at 8pm. It was so hard avoiding spoilers during the day. In past years, TV, Facebook, IG, radio, etc, would show/say: Spoiler Alert--- so I could turn away.
The full race was on Peacock streaming and cable and broadcast TV during the day. Every day, starting at about 5 a.m., NBC has about 6 or 8 separate Olympic event broadcasts. The night before, I select the ones I want to watch and record them.
Removing the duplicates left us with about 19 stations. Networks include ABC, CW, MeTV, NBC, CBS, FOX, PBS, PBS Kids, PBS Create, Grit, Bounce, H&I (heroes and icons), a news station, a sports station, BUZZR (classic game shows), LAFF (sitcoms), Court TV, and we there I can’t remember right now.
Well, this latest thought takes me back to a time occurring in between programs or at the half of a program. NBC and ABC very seldom had scare factors, but they paled in comparison to CBS, which did. The Tiffany Network, as it was sometimes referred, had a way with announcers.
In regards to the International Broadcast Center, NYC and LA would be the obvious choices given their media presence. Interested to see where it ends up being though. If FOX has the World Cup then it will be in LA as FOX does all their big sports broadcasts from their LA studios.
In related news...NBC and the NFL just attempted the Statue of Click Bait play to remind young women to watch the NFL again this year. Plus, she may put on a halftime show at every NFL game in the US this year.
