Octordle has become impossible to play. There are now banner ads that block my keyboard. I have tried closing the ad and/or following the ad. All I can do is close my browser window, open a new one, and navigate back to octordle. I have seen 2 banner ads that block the keyboard and others do not. Add a Comment.

It's possible that the Daily puzzles are curated by "Mr Octordle", who chooses each Daily Rescue from a selection of Practice Rescue puzzles, which could explain a bias towards deterministic puzzles. Over several hundred practice rescues, I average around 80% (not sure exactly as my stats keep getting deleted).
You only have one guess in rescue so use it wisely. I try to work out which 5 letters will narrow down the options the best. Then I put those 5 letters in anagram solver, throwing in wildcards if I have to to get some words to input. Position of the letters is often important in choosing your 'guess' word. 1.
Title says it all. I tried the help@octordle... address, but it was returned as undeliverable. Lately, I have been getting adds that cover half of the board and they don't go away. I can refresh my screen, but then have to hope that I don't get the same ad. Which I do, so the cycle continues.

They didn't even bother to change the URL in the stolen code for the share text emoji so it still says "octordle.com" (which is the original Octordle, before it was acquired by Brittanica).
