  2. I understand why Wells Fargo is reviewing their suspected fraud holds, but I haven't had an account with Wells Fargo in over 20 years. When I called to find out more, the only thing the representative was able to determine was that this would be for accounts open between 2012 and 2017.

  3. For example, Chase calls it QuickPay by Zelle, while Wells Fargo calls it SurePay, and Capital One calls it P2P Payments. To use Zelle, the sender's bank must be part of the network. The recipient isn't required to be in the network, though if they are it makes things easier, as no setup is required on the recipient's end in that case.

  4. Bank will not accept loose change. Is this legal?

    money.stackexchange.com/questions/84599

I recently found out that my bank (Wells Fargo) no longer accepts loose (unrolled) change when I took in a bucket of change that I wanted to deposit into my account. Apparently, they do not have coin counters anymore. They told me to roll the change (but refused to provide rolls) or to go to Walmart with my change (for a 5% fee).

  5. I received $70k payment from a client in my Wells Fargo Business account. I want to move the money to my personal account in a Credit Union bank. Since I own/operate both accounts, I am thinking of making a Wells Fargo check to myself for the amount of $70k and deposit this check in my Credit Union account.

  6. Loan-to-value (LTV) ratio of 65% to remove escrow?

    money.stackexchange.com/questions/102301

I'm currently at an LTV of 75%, and after doing some quick research it seems like 80% is pretty much the standard for allowing removal of escrow. I was surprised when Wells Fargo told me 65% was necessary. Even quoting their FAQ page about escrow accounts. Most of the time, escrow accounts are required if your down payment was less than 20%.

  7. This just happened to me with a Wells Fargo Bill Pay check. WF put a stop payment on the check. The money was taken out of my account immediately yet it is going to take 3-5 days to reappear in the account. I question these banking practices. Georgia Bank and Trust Company of GA does not do this.

  8. We both have Wells Fargo accounts. What is the quickest and cheapest way to transfer a large amount, say $20K or more, to her account? I'd prefer to stay away from fees and any tax issues. I know Wells Fargo online allows you to transfer up to $1,500 a day and limits you to $20K a month, but is there a faster way to transfer a large amount safely?

  9. I believe that inbound transfers (from another bank to Bank of America, which is the direction you want) are free. (For the other direction, Wells Fargo similarly has an online transfer service between your accounts where inbound (from another bank to Wells Fargo) is free.) Use Wells Fargo SurePay to pay yourself.

  10. Zelle is the new way to move money between friends, family, coworkers, and millions of other people across the country within minutes.Footnote 11 With just an email address or mobile phone numberFootnote 22; you can easily send money to almost anyone with a U.S. bank accountFootnote 33 directly from Wells Fargo Online® and Wells Fargo Mobile®.

  11. online banking - Why doesn't Bank of America or Wells Fargo have...

Using my credit union's account I can do free ACH push or pull from both of my Bank of America or Wells Fargo checking accounts. However, I was wondering why doesn't Bank of America or Wells Fargo...
