May 19, 2024. #3. I used to love Married with Children but I don’t think an animated show would work. The ridiculous “vulgar” plots were funny but the best comedy came from the actors themselves. Ed O’Neil’s facial expressions and reactions were a huge part of the comedy. You’d definitely lose that in a cartoon.
