The Evil Dead Evil Dead Rise Evil Dead Army of Darkness It feels wrong to rank AoD last, because I love that film, but compared to the others it sways too far into comedy, as great as it is. In terms of Ash V The Evil Dead, I haven't watched the whole series, so couldn't say for sure, but from what I have seen it would be sold mid table.

I don't think Rise was that bad. It wasn't as creative as the other films, but it was a good time. And it does have some of the same vibes of the 2013 film, so in my eyes they're part of the same timeline. Not sure apocalypse era Ash vs Evil Dead would ever have happened. The TV show wouldn't have the budget for it.
I dont think evil dead NEEDS Bruce Campbell, love him, but I dont think he's a necessity. I hope they dont go too serious wirh the new movie, although it does seem like it rn. I didnt hate the 2013 one but It just felt like a generic 2010s cheap hollywood-playing-it-safe "remake" that to me didnt rly capture what was so awesome about the originals
