Their systems analyze your searches and if it seems you only use Bing for rewards points you get the cooldown or something like that. Just do normal searches and space them out over the day and it should go away after a while, i personally think it's a pretty messed up system but they seem to think it's necessary for one reason or another.
It's easy to rack up points and earn your way toward great Microsoft Rewards. Get points for doing the things you already do. Search on Bing.com, buy stuff from Microsoft/Xbox Store online or in Windows 10, or just explore the Rewards page for daily activities. Microsoft Rewards points don't have any cash value.
I'm a little split on whether to redeem points to extend my susbcription. Right now I'm good until 8/15/2026, but assuming Ambassador codes are still a thing, I'd be good until 2/15/2027. I found my issue with redeeming my last code. I guess when I changed my primary card it didn't update it for subscriptions.

I've had customer support manually deposit money into my account because I couldn't redeem some old point cards and it was listed as 'Xbox Live rewards deposit" that had a 90 day expiration date. The VIP program is dead though although I'm not sure if they turned it into the new Ambassador's program or not.

As someone who was primarily PS4 last gen the combination of Microsoft Rewards, Game Pass, a working refund system, and the ability to buy cheap game codes from 3rd party sellers has saved me a TON of money just in the past year switching over to Xbox.
