I personally have had a good experience like 8/10 times. My first experience was okay, it was one of the pre-COVID haircut deal days but the stylist kept pushing for me to get a straightening treatment that would be over $200 on my next visit. Luckily, she left and I got my second stylist at Ulta.

Any of my negative reviews are NEVER posted. So I no longer post or trust reviews on the Ulta site/app. 6. theroyalbugness.
Haven’t had it done, but here’s some additional info about it, that might help. Iverness is who is providing the piercing certifications and this is their process. so it is still a piercing gun, like Claire’s. Ulta’s website also states that it’s $55, with only lobe piercing options available. 3.
I believe ulta (and most stylists at any salon) offer consultations though! And it’s always a good idea to see what they’ve done on others, some hairstylists just don’t have the same vision as you! Yes! Especially when I worked there I used to get my hair cut fairly frequently there.
You won’t really know unless you go for yourself or read reviews online about it. The only thing “different” is that the stylists have to sometimes push products and will use stuff they want to sell (like drybar, oleplex, redken, Bumble and Bumble, etc.) Other than that, Ulta doesn’t really do anything different.
So when you get your makeup done at ulta it is done at the salon we don’t have beauty advisors doing applications it’s usually a cosmetologist or an esthetician. I use to do makeup applications at the salon and always had a lot of fun! So I say book yourself a hair and makeup appointment and bring lots of pictures of ideas of what you want ...
lots of pressure -pay sucks majorly -fluctuating pay. Pro’s for retail: -getting to play with new product. Con’s for retail: -rude guests -management expectations -pay -being stuck at cash wrap for an entire 9hr shift constantly -understaffed constantly -strict dress code -high employee turnover -KARENS -VENDORS 😤. 2.
In the 20 years I've had my brows waxed, the last 13 have been with the Brow Bar, either at Ulta or the BeneFit counters in department stores. I have had a few less than great experiences but 95% have been amazing. They are really good about talking you through every step of the process the first few times and they always map my brows and ask ...
discussion. I just found out ulta offers a “curl by curl” haircut for $60! Super affordable compared to curly hair salons. Has anyone tried it? What was your experience like? Archived post. New comments cannot be posted and votes cannot be cast. 11. 8 Share.
I love Ulta, but they never carry the brands I use every day, and I hate buying from Sephora with the limited perks. Ulta also announced Olehenriksen will be coming next year. Really excited to use all my points on these two brands! 665 188. r/MakeupAddiction.
