The G502 X Wired gets a 8.5/10 from me, with the missing points coming from bad rubber grips, and the AWFUL cable that is non-removable. Logitech did exactly what I hoped they would with this iteration, and took the old version, did the same thing, but better, and newer.
In Windows Settings, open Apps & features. Search for Logitech G-HUB. Click on Logitech G-HUB and click Modify. In the new window, select Reinstall G-HUB, then click REINSTALL. G-HUB will reinstall, and this will resolve the issue while retaining the settings. I could switch profiles without issue, I wanted to prevent automatic profile switching.

I've had the G502 Hero mouse for more than a year now, and everything was fun and games until my mouse began randomly double-clicking when I wanted to only click once. After two months of this issue, Logitech released an update for GHub that came with a firmware update for the G502. After updating GHub, my mouse has been working perfectly fine.
