Here is the issue though. The features in the $20 stand alone app were available in the Synapse app for Razer THX/7.1 headsets up until the recent update. Yes, the headsets are still THX/7.1 capable. They did not disable or remove THX/7.1 from the headsets. They are now selling the THX software as a stand alone app.
The black chroma ones looks very clear but the white one has lower quality for some reason and its quite obvious from comparing the clarity of the razer logo. I use a multitude of razer devices and have no issues with their software. I have had the basilisk v3 (wired) since it came out with synapse 3. There was no doubt that there was an issue earlier (a while ago). But I can confirm that as of now (April 2024) it works perfectly fine. Use synapse 3!
There was an update today that includes device support for the Razer Siren V2 Pro. It was working previously but now you have access to the stream mix functionality. The main application was also updated, but doesn't seem to update using the built in update checker (for me at least), I had to install it manually.

I had hoped this would prevent Synapse from conflicting with Signal RGB (a third party controller) which I use since I have non-Razer devices I want to control.
