If that battery causes you problems (from undervolting to overvolting to catching fire) Lenovo has its hands clean and the damage will be yours alone to bare. Here's what I see as possible causes: 1. replacement fan's RPM circuit is malfunctioning or the wire is broken. 2. the laptop's RPM sense circuit is malfunctioning. 3. Both are working, but the laptop is actually detecting an irregularity in the fan's spin (problem with the fan's drive circuit)

Windows 11 Compatibility. #1 by josh5k » Fri Jun 25, 2021 6:05 am. Looks like most Classic Thinkpad hardware will be incompatible with Windows 11. My X230, T430 and T420s have all failed the Upgrade Check. (Just run the PC Health Check utility). I'm still hoping that TPM 2, would not be compulsory for the home builds at the least.
