Added to NRHP. May 17, 1976. Mission Santa Cruz ( Spanish: La Misión de la Exaltación de la Santa Cruz) is a Spanish Californian mission. Located on Mission Hill, it was founded on August 28, 1791, by Father Fermín Francisco de Lasuén, the successor of Father Junipero Serra. The mission was dedicated that same year.
