Over the years, Millspaugh had transitioned from selling custom furniture to buying off showroom floors around the state. When I took over the business in the late 80s, I remembered what my grandfather taught me. So I took Millspaugh back to its roots, selling custom, hardwood furniture.

Most of the furniture in our showrooms is solid wood construction made by various small family-run woodshops across the United States. We work with experienced, vetted craftsmen, some of which we’ve had working relationships with for more than 40 years.
The resulting three-story brick building, a staple of Walden’s Main Street, remains our main store today. The business continued to grow, and the storefront grew with it. In 1895, T.L. installed a dumbwaiter that could transport furniture between the three floors of the store.
