She has student prime and I have full on, no bullshit prime. I have added her to my household (which means I can share my prime benefits with her). She is worried that if she cancels her student prime, that she will lose her order history and (more importantly) the photos she has on Amazon photos tied to that account.
Finally, if you’re just referring to your household in terms of a generic, non-Amazon branded household—where everyone is sharing one email address and password to log into Amazon and buy stuff, then you have received the correct information several times over.
A friend suggested using a different zip code in the Amazon website to see if that would jog the Prime filter. I entered Phoenix - worked like a charm. After seeing the results, I reset the location to my original zc (00685) and I now have my Prime checkbox back again.
More likely is that you somehow installed or updated the Shopping app from Google Play store that overwrote the Amazon version. The Google Play version gives that message because of the commission fight between Google and Amazon. You should search for the Amazon app in Google Play store and specify that it not auto-update.
Every month, Amazon kept charging me for Prime. I did everything it said to cancel the subscription, yet they kept charging me. I even deleted my email account and opened up a new one, but that still didn't work. I had to go back and forth with my bank to get my money back. I had to explicitly tell them to reject any purchase or charge from Amazon.
I am trying to get the windows Prime Video app working (in order to download and watch offline). I downloaded the app from Microsoft store. I try to log in, it asks me for a captcha, then when I answer it, a browser window launches and goes to Amazon shopping. Meanwhile in the Prime Video app, it just stays on the captcha screen.
With the massive minimum order increase for free delivery WITH PRIME, I’m not going to be able to get Amazon Fresh any more. I’m one person and don’t need $150 of groceries at once. Theres no Walmart nearby and I don’t drive, so getting grocery delivery from them isn’t an option.
That's not true. You have Prime for buying stuff online and just forgot about it. Or you mighta bought it without knowing it. It's easy to do when shopping, especially when you do the delivery options and select the free delivery button without noticing it signs you up for prime. So the bad news is you're gonna get a $100 fee later this year.
I only have Prime for the shipping, not for any of their other services. Honestly, I think the only time worth paying for Prime is during the holiday shopping season ... other than this, not worth it anymore, especially since delivery times are rarely 2 days anymore. There are other options out there (e.g Walmart and probably others).
