I just recently purchased a $50 steam gift card and part of the numbers were torn off, i tried taking it back to the store i purchased it from and they said they couldnt do anything about it. so i sent the steam support a picture of the card and they havent been back to me in almost 4 days now

So lets say, your Steam store uses Dollars, then you can use any Steam Wallet cards with Dollar values, even if your store is not in the USA.

They really are the ones who should be faulted, especially if it was one of their employees that accidentally scractched the card in such a way that the number is unreadable. Only option would be to get a gift card to Walmart or Target and then buy a steam gift card crom them. I think the best option I've found is Amazon credit > Gamestop Credit > Steam Card. Are Steam gift cards an option for you to choose in the rewards section?
