Select Printer 'Adobe PDF', then click Print Options, click Properties, and untick 'Rely on system fonts only; do not use document fonts'. Inside "Print Servers" > Inside User > Click on Drivers. Right Click on "Adobe PDF Converter" and Delete the same (repeat the same for all versions) Goto "Printers" > Remove "Adobe PDF" printer if present > Close the window. Re-Start the system. You can try to run a preflight profile on one of the pdfs to embed the fonts (Tools> Print production> Preflight> Fixups) or embed the fonts when creating the pdf, if possible. If you go to File> Properties> Fonts, all fonts should say embedded subset. I don't know if this issue is related to 64bit.
That has allowed me to use the software but with some small glitches. I just solved this problem the PDF file itself has corrupted it wasn't Acrobat. Try a mouse right-button click and hold on the file name (in your File Explorer) to open a sub-menu, and the select "Open With" and then select "Adobe Acrobat".
