A visiting card, also called a calling card, was a small, decorative card that was carried by individuals to present themselves to others. It was a common practice in the 18th and 19th century, particularly among the upper classes, to leave a visiting card when calling on someone (which means to visit their house or workplace).
vCard, also known as VCF (Virtual Contact File), is a file format standard for electronic business cards. vCards can be attached to e-mail messages, sent via Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS), on the World Wide Web, instant messaging, NFC or through QR code.
I removed the External Links section. The one link there does have a few free templates but also has many ads on the page, as expected. Free templates are easy to find through Google or other search engines. Also, the page now has two new business card images, which show what I assume to be current phone numbers, e-mails, website addresses, etc.
