The terminal originally had seven gates but an additional gate was added for regional airlines during the renovations of Terminals B and C. As of September 2022, JetBlue uses all gates at Terminal A. Gates A1 and A2 have been used by other airlines in the past such as Copa Airlines and Allegiant Air.
