23 Variside. I have the 23 Variside. Like everyone has said, it does EVERYTHING well. However - the only complaints I have are: 1. Rides a little rough in chop but trim tabs help a lot. 2. Back end will take on water when trying to anchor in rough water or the surf and if you drift in choppy water.
Reply. I currently run the 22' VS with a 175 E-Tech, 3 blade prop. It gets up great in in shallow water, and runs a top speed of 42-45mph. If you are looking for a smooth riding boat then you might nee to look at the Bigfoot. The GC is a rough ride in chop, but you will stay dry.

Changed over to a 19 pitch 4 blade (powertech) and lost a little of my hole shot but top end was much better at 53mph (2 guys). Had a Manta Ray installed and my hole shot was ...
