Signal Quality of Digital WFTV (ABC) in Orlando. I am testing a new antenna installation (with a DTC100) and would appreciate some feedback from others in the Orlando area. With my new antenna (a CM 4228) and pre-amp I am able to get WOFL (22-1) very good with a signal strength in the mid 80s. With WFTV (39-1) I am getting a signal strength in ...

I have watch the news on WFTV-DT pretty much all week. It was up last night too (and this morning). While I haven't watched too much WFTV I haven't noticed them down. As for WESH, I noticed a couple of days ago during a nasty thunderstorm, the rain interfered with the reception. They must be running at a reduced power.

5,545 Posts. #3,542 · Apr 23, 2021 (Edited) WRBW's RF 28 signal will also convert on 6/22, with WOFL, WFTV, WRDQ and WKMG as its ATSC 1.0 simulcast hosts. In exchange, those stations will get a NextGen simulcast on WRBW's signal. WRBW's filings didn't indicate which specific subchannels will end up where, just that WOFL's signal will have the ...

I called WKMG Orlando yesterday and spoke with Dave in engineering. He said they were up and down yesterday.

This TV will scan the local channel 8 during a full scan, and then shunt the Tampa 8's up to 9 - and that interferes with WFTV-9. So after a scan is done, as I go up the channels, I get 8.1 as WOFT-DT, Newsnet. 8.2 is Sports News Highlights. 8.3 is a shopping channel. 8.4 is Ace.

For HDHomeRun you need to either open a support ticket or post about it on their forum. HDHomerun updated the guide today. Also the trick for the Channels DVR ...

Welcome to the new Central Florida Summer 2004 OTA & Satellite thread ! With the Central Florida Thread being mostly concerned with BHN issues, it seemed best to split off the OTA and Satellite postings to a separate thread so they don't get buried among the BHN postings. Local TV stations...

I didn't watch too much OTA last night but didn't notice any problems. I checked the signal strengths of all the locals this morning and they were fairly stable, with WFTV, WRDQ, WOFL and WCKF the most stable, WESH being the worse. Nothing that would cause drop outs .. Will check again tonight. I do run with a channel master pre-map.
