See picture below of the wiring diagram as taken off the back panel of my Uline SP18 unit. Notice on the right hand side of that picture, shows the wiring associated with the icemaker assembly. While the left hand side of the picture shows the wiring associated with the compressor, fan, water valve etc.

1) Remove the front panel and use a volt meter to see if you are getting power to the water solenoid. If you are getting power to it and no water (and you are sure there is water to the unit) the solenoid valve is probably bad. You can find them online for less than $100.00. 2) I have had to manually cycle my unit in the past.

Ya know, I just can’t resist scoping a project to replace my broken Uline icemaker with this one: Biggest issue will be fixturing & supporting it into the 341 bridge cavity with a professional look that also allows easy removal for servicing and winterizing. Stainless finish, 1yr overall / 2yr compressor warranty.
Does anyone know the make and model for the original Uline ice maker on a 2006 490 pilothouse. I am 40 miles from my boat and trying to save myself a trip. thanks Duane 2006 - 490 Pilothouse
I replaced my Uline last year. My 391 is a 2011. I am however located on the east coast. And you might not want to ship from that far away. Anyway, if you are interested, Annapolis Cruisair (Annapolis MD) had the exact replacement. If you are interested their number is 410-224-0970.

The U-Line ice maker in my salon will not get cold. The breaker is on in the panel and the unit on/off switch is on. Am I missing something or is there something else that I need to check? Please let me know your thoughts. Thanks. -Chris
