Hi, My Samsung 6300 smart tv used to be able to wirelessly extend my laptop, all until 2 months ago after most recent win 10 update. I have tried to do that. but it doesn't seem to work. I can have tried mirror screening and the surface pro screen is displayed on the TV but there is not any movement and nothing happens on the TV screen when I move the mouse over the screen. Does the TV support miracast, i can't find any mention of miracast in the manual. The TV shows in the Device list as not connected because you have unplugged the HDMI lead. In order to project directly from windows 10 both the windows device and the TV must be miracast compatible. however there is a workaround that may work for you.
