I was on Assurance Wireless a few years back before AND after T-Mo took over VM/Sprint but was in a area in the hills where T-Mo wasn't that strong. One of my phones used to show one nearby, a street on the other side of the university. It does show 4g and the signal strength on the gauge, & the band.
Apr 29, 2023. #22. I got some of the specs from the phone itself under "About Phone," and by installing CPU-Z, CPU Info, and Phone Information apps from the Google Play store. I hard reset the phone back to factory and tried again to set it up. It behaved a little differently but not any better.
Assurance wireless phones a few years ago were running on Sprint. You couldn't sim swap on Sprint. Give it a try I'm sure you'll be glad you did. You were reading old reviews/reports. i agree 100 % if it is 'paired' like with Metro I am sure you will be fine putting it back in the other phone...

May 24, 2011. #2. Uh dude, this is not a plan that can be sold by an indie dealer. This is a partially subsidized program in conjunction with the govt. There is no money to be made from it. If you are looking for a prepaid wireless product to sale to low income folks, I recommend Tracfone, Net10, Platinum Tel, Total Call or a few others.

My circumstances went downhill fast in December, so as part of trying to go uphill a little bit, I'm getting an Assurance Wireless phone to tide me over. Well I've played with a friend's Assurance stock phone and, if Top Gear rated phones, I think Jezza would call it a "hateful little phone," in addition to being a clunky piece of garbage.
I know safelink has been in this area.SE PA. I just saw an ad for assurance wireless now being available in this area. I wonder if Safelink and Assurance will co-exist or will one exit.
