    Re: Bolt Mango. Bolt is a compact-growing dense-canopy tree of low-medium vigor for me. The fruit tends to be later season and rather precocious. This year I have three distinct crops on my tree. The fruit are smaller size with a decent size seed, but the flavor is off the charts.

    All my mango trees are the old original Florida varieties, since I live in a small town I only had a few varieties to choose from the nurseries and big box stores near me at the time when I was planting my mango trees 10-17 years ago. Lucky for me I enjoy all the mango varieties I planted.

    This Honey Kiss mango is a tree in Walter Zill's grove. It is a dwarf, late season tree. It will fruit in clusters much of the time and is a heavy, reliable, bearer. Walter said it has very good lateral branching and makes a nice canopy. The ones I tired early last year were a little washed out but the late seasons were excellent.
