McAfee from AT&T states: "Your McAfee subscription ends in 179389 day(s)". I guess the difference may be the interpretation of the word, "soon". I figure more than 500 years is good enough.

   In Windows 10 I have ensured that McAfee notifications are "On" in the Settings>System>Notifications & actions. Additionally, in the McAfee VirusScan Console, I have checked the radio button under Tools>General Options>System Tray Icon which states "Show the system tray icon with all menu options"

   I uninstalled McAFee VirusScan Enterprise Edition about 10 years ago when I first started using Microsoft Defender's predecessor on Windows 7. I have search my registry thoroughly and any McAfee remnants have been deleted. I have scanned my whole system and there is no other references to McAfee but the upgrade still does not install.
