Yuzbashyan was born in 1958 in Yerevan, Armenia. She first appeared on stage at age 16 as a soloist of state jazz quartet "Gaya". She lived in Baku until she reached 20. [1] In 1979 she graduated from state musical college in Baku. After receiving her higher education she returned to Yerevan.
