In the past people have complained it is too expensive and poor quality, but the amount of content they have now means I would give it a go. Dec to May is 7 months. If the season was reduced to Nov-March that would be 5 months. This would allow pro 7s competitions in Europe and the USA to grow and run from June to September over 4 months. The number of tournaments has been reduced to 8. This was done for financial reasons which is understandable.
Get a subscription to an IPTV service. They are pretty grey (and slightly more than grey) areas.. but they provide access to most games (since rugbypass went mental). I pay £40 for 6 months service for a full package (all sports world wide and general tv) its not perfect.. some buffering hear and there. But all hd and more than worth it.
The Rugby Network. Your best option for foreign rugby is Peacock. Pretty reasonable and they carry the English Premiership, HSBC Sevens and the Six Nations. For domestic rugby, The Rugby Network is free and airs MLR. It had a season of Japan Rugby League One at one point too but not for this season I believe.
