It would be best to send it to a Qualified Dewalt Technician to fix your motor....they do understand that the motor is not exactly that same when it comes to a Type 1 or Type 12...and they would, I assume, know what to do in order to fix your motor. I did manage to fix my motor...with some concerns.

First they started with DCS355 exactly from the middle of this range, after a few years almost at the same time one number below (DCS354 Atomic) and one number above (DCS356 three speed option) was released and now DSC533 12V version is released.
Hi DeWalt World! Hoping to understand if i have a common problem with a common solution here before i blindly dismantle this blower myself. I’m not technician. Love this blower, use it all the time. Had it about 18 months, i think. Had trouble locating purchase receipt so it may be out of warranty, but regardless, I’m hoping to fix it myself.
Posted August 9, 2018. I know this is a super old question but somebody's going to come in here and want the answer. The hot cold pack delay is a long short long short light. This happens when your battery is too hot or too cold. When the battery cools off or warms up it will resume charging. All is well 🙂. Quote.

So today I was working in my garage and one of my flex 6.0 batteries got low and didn't have enough juice for the table saw so I went to plug it in and to my surprise it wouldn't charge. the light may show solid or blink for a few seconds then show solid. I tried multiple chargers and multiple outlets.

Posted November 10, 2018. Yes, the DeWalt DWS5027 Tracksaw T-Square has been discontinued and is no longer available. This review of that DeWalt DWS5027 square, with the Festool track system, reveals that, in this example, the DeWalt square was close but not square. Given that the DeWalt fits the Festool rack, then the converse might also be true.
