a 7700k will bottleneck that GPU for sure. I have a 7700 (non K) and it bottlenecks my GTX 1080 on several games. (typically games that want more than 4 cores) With the next gen consoles using 8c/16t cpu's i would look at that as my starting point for a new CPU. All bottleneck calculator websites are garbage and 100% inaccurate, and bottleneck is not a problem for 99% of people, unless you're doing something stupid like pairing an i3 with a 4090. Even then, at 4k in most games it would do pretty well.
