Henrietta Maria Benson Homer (1809–1884) was an American botanical artist. [1] Homer née Benson was born in 1809 in Bucksport, Massachusetts (it became part of Maine in 1820). In 1833 she married Charles Savage Homer, with whom she had three sons. [2] Their middle son was the painter, Winslow Homer.
