  2. Are Greyhound buses in the US really that bad? : r/travel -...

    www.reddit.com/r/travel/comments/ubgzwg/are_greyhound_buses_in_the_us_really...

I took greyhound a lot when I was in college and grad school. The major east coast routes between Boston, New York, Philadelphia, and Washington DC are nice. Newish buses, leave from a fine part of town, etc. The couple of times I took greyhound in the south was much less good. Old smelly buses, stations were in sketchy areas.

  3. What it like owning a greyhound? : r/Greyhounds - Reddit

Kids might want a more active dog, honestly. I don't expect my grey will have any great issues with children if we have them - but they need to learn not to hassle him while he's sleeping in particular. Shorthaired dog - shedding a bit at the moment but nothing major. Care for retired racers is a bit of a grab bag.

  5. How bad actually are the Greyhound Buses and Bus Stations?

    www.reddit.com/r/travel/comments/17vve0o/how_bad_actually_are_the_greyhound...

The majority of Americans don’t even travel leisurely by Greyhound. The real America is stuck in their 2-4 door Sedan on the highway, commuting without incident like civilized people. Greyhound busses are city to city, and it doesn't make sense to take them to work. It's the /travel attitude.

  6. First time owner greyhound puppy tips? : r/Greyhounds - Reddit

Will be getting a boy greyhound pup around 13 weeks and looking for greyhound specific tips on training (behavior shaping and what to teach first), routines, exercise, diet (fresh v kibble v raw), beds, cats…. Etc. I have done a ton of research but would love some first-hand experience. Appreciate the help!

  7. Greyhound vs FlixBus : r/UCSD - Reddit

    www.reddit.com/r/UCSD/comments/vumr1g/greyhound_vs_flixbus

Flixbus is normally cheaper. Take flixbus unless you wanna smell weed and piss for 3 hours on a greyhound. I swear by FlixBus. Flixbus is way cheaper, you can get a one way ticket to LA from Old Town or UCSD (UTC stop is being moved to on campus, by the trolley station) for like $15ish each way if you book a week or so early.

  8. Greyhound (2020) is a really well-done WWII movie : r/movies -...

    www.reddit.com/r/movies/comments/nphpzq/greyhound_2020_is_a_really_welldone...

Greyhound (2020) is a really well-done WWII movie. Recommendation. I haven't seen a lot of movies like it and it just happen to catch my eye the other day. There's a scene early on set on land that kind turned me off the movie at first, but the rest of the movie is set on a battleship and I was fully into it the whole time.

Greyhound is also the official transportation of the newly released inmate, so expect one or two of these, not yet acclimated to life on the outside. I once had a newly released convict spend nearly nine hours loudly ranting about how he was going to get his 40 acres and a mule after having been in prison for six years for dealing crack cocaine.

  10. State of greyhound adoption : r/Greyhounds - Reddit

A few accidents and separation anxiety. But in general very little work needed for stairs, crowds/traffic, people and other dogs, etc. He isn't even bothered by fireworks. We adopted our boy from Queensland 3 months ago through Golden State Greyhound Adoption here in Walnut Creek, CA. We're in northern California.

When the Greyhound detects U-Boats, she speeds off thorough the violent seas with surprising agility to challenge the enemy. Only four warships are escorting the convoy: Greyhound as leader, two British destroyers, Harry and Eagle, and a Canadian corvette, the Dickey. Corvettes were an early wartime anti-submarine mainstay of the Canadian navy.
