The answer is $$$. Most companies won't advertise on steamunlocked.net due to the fact that they are a torrent website. With that, the only people who will pay are sketchy. It sucks but its the only reason the website stays up and running. Lastly. Don't be an idiot. If you are torrenting, use your head.

Question. steamunlocked is a really good site in my opinion for downloading games, but there's a problem that has been occuring to me recently. Whatever i download over it, it just goes really slow, speed should normally arrange from 3-5 mb/s, but instead it drops to small amounts like 200 kb/s for no reason at all, and it's only this site.
The site is safe if you know how to use it properly and don'tclick on pop-ups. Just add it as a non steam game with the path to the exe file if you really want to have it in steam. I'm not sure if you can get banned by having a game that is on Steam that you pirated, I've just never decided to poke the bear.

I saw that download manager was faster to use but idk how to use it for steamunlocked and i need help. Go to your downloads, right-click the link, copy it, paste it in your download manager, and hit download. Then delete the old download you started. Or you can use an automatic download manager like Google Chrome.
