I feel like the people calling for 1A to have more moderate views are calling for people who are largely irrelevant in modern political times so that they can feel things are getting back to normal when the reality is anything but. I certainly like it better than fresh air.

When WAMU replaced The Diane Rehm Show with 1A with Joshua Johnson, I was excited for the fresh energy of the new host. I was working in a rural area just on the edge of a carrying affiliate's coverage area, so I had been listening to The Diane Rehm Show podcast.
