Floyd Sofa ⚠️. We bought the sofa from Floyd recently and really like it's look and find it comfortable despite the stiffness/lack of depth that a couple other folks in this sub pointed out. Anyone considering the Floyd Sofa should be aware that the upholstery attracts hair and lint like a magnet. We tried lint rollers and rubber gloves to ...
Floyd, the Sectional. I bought a house a few months ago and have been so nervous about pulling the trigger on a couch. I like firm seating and hate the idea of back cushions going flat or sagging. So many reviews on furniture these days mention the back cushions starting to sag after only a few months...that would drive me nuts.
Floyd Furniture Review. tl;dr: don't buy. Some background: I've had my fair share of crappy furniture. Just graduated college and had four years of dorm and/or furnished apartment beds, chairs, etc. that barely functioned. I lived in a room where the door couldn't be opened more than about 8 inches because of a desk in the way for a year.
jaimebeacoup. •. I'm a bit obsessed with Floyd. I own their bed, table, and two end tables. Everything is super sturdy and was so easy to put together. I purchased a sofa from Article, which I hate, and am REALLY thinking about buying their sofa. If you do buy plz update me on the comfort level!
The best way to test this sofa beforehand (besides going to a Floyd showroom) is to go sit on the strandmon wingback chair in IKEA. I have one and the level of firmness/comfort is identical to me. I purchased a Floyd sofa from Facebook marketplace for $500.
Floyd advertises a lot through social media, sponsored affiliate articles, and social media influencers, who are all like twenty somethings who wouldn't know decent furniture if they tripped over it - they are beautiful people who take beautiful photos and get some free or discounted stuff in return in exchange for a review.
We have the left-side chaise and the right arm (front) chaise in grey. I have a friend who got the forest green which is beautiful as well. I wish Floyd success, but think they have quite a ways to go to make a better reputation for themselves. Let me know if you have any more questions! 4.
Rants and Raves. So we just received our Floyd sink-down sectional today, and since I couldn't find any other posts about this product, I thought I'd share some thoughts that may help aide in others' decision-making when it comes to this extremely plush (lumpy?) sectional sofa. First off, I must say that this is potentially the deepest sofa I ...
Floyd sectional. Hey y’all! I’m looking to buy a modular sectional, and was intrigued with the Floyd sectional. I saw plenty of horror stories on Reddit from their shipping fiasco/poor CS last year, but haven’t seen any posts since then. Has anyone purchased the Floyd sectional this year?
Also, just from a vibe standpoint, Floyd gets big points for being a successful Kickstarter brand over the clearly Wharton-School-of-Warby-Harry's-Quip-DTC-Branding (TM) attitude of Burrow. I'm slightly more skeptical of Floyd's shelving units, especially how much they differ from IKEA products that are 1/3 of the cost.
