There are a few versions out there, so we may have to experiment. The first thing to do is to uninstall whatever version of the HPSA that is installed now and not working. Then restart the PC. Here is a link to a HPSA version 8 release. The one I gave you was an older version 7 release.
If it does, restart the computer and check if the HP Support assistant still shows the same update, if yes, click on ignore or cancel it.
