Download Xbox-xCloud-1.2.0-universal.dmg. Open the .dmg file, drag the Xbox-xCloud.app file to the Applications folder shortcut. Close that window. Open Finder, go to Applications, right-click on Xbox-xCloud.app and click "Open". Accept the warning and open it anyway. Then just sign in, connect some form of controller, and you should be good to go.
They do have an app for iOS, but as macOS it seems not yet, not sure why though. The PlayStation app doesn't let you stream either I believe. Changing platform simply because there isn't an app available seems like an odd thing, but it is all about user preference and if that is what you prefer go for it.
