I had to drop off a package that was prepaid return to supplier. I arrive at the closest FedEx according to google which takes me to a staples. To make sure there is a FedEx in the store I call the FedEx number listed under this location. Even though I'm calling a specific location it routes Mr through the automated voice system.
To speak to a customer service rep at FedEx, do the following: Call 1-800-463-3339 At the first prompt, say "Give me options" At the second prompt, say "More options" At the third prompt, say "Even more options" At the fourth prompt, say "It's something else" At the next prompt, do not say anything or enter your tracking number.
They make it impossible to speak to an actual customer service representative, and those Representatives claim that they can't help you at all. FedEx is really putting us at their mercy. They make enough money from their big business contracts to not care about the gymnastics they are putting their real customers through to receive packages ...

Sunday, I woke up and discovered that the shipment had miraculously not only been scanned in at the local FedEx operation, but properly noted as "Delayed" and then immediately logged the next minute as being put on a truck for delivery.
