The 2020+ Model S is far different than a 2016 Model S, in terms of ride quality and small subtle usability and drivability improvements. An Apples to Apples comparison would be a modern Model S against your Model 3. You can’t compare old technology with new technology and expect not to be disappointed. Reply reply.
I mean, I think your question to yourself is very valid. You gain a LOT from buying a new model 3 over a used Model S. For your price range, you'd get a 3 Performance. Pros of a 3: 3 Performance is faster than even a 100D. Much faster peak charging power (250kW vs 150) You get the full warranty.
