For those considering flying Frontier. This sub is clogged with all sorts of reports of flying drama with Frontier. You might deduce that flying Frontier is a really bad idea. I just wanted to come on here and say that lots of flights by Frontier leave on time, arrive on time, and passengers on those flights got good value for their money.
Awesome experience on Frontier! Tl;dr - Key tips for Frontier: If checked baggage, pay at the time of booking ($40). Make sure to use Apple Airtags to keep your mind at peace Check-in as soon as the 24 hour window open. We were travelling as a family of 7 with 5 adults and 2 kids. 3 adults were seated together and the two kids were both seated next to a parent Being a short trip - We had 2 ...
Yes, Frontier is a horror show, but not for what you think. It’s not the no-frills, lucky not to pay for air on the flight stuff that is expected in budget carriers. It’s not even the delays. It’s Frontier’s shamefully underhanded manner of handling operations when things go wrong.
Frontier airlines. As I endure another night at the airport, awaiting tomorrow morning's rescheduled flight, I’m famished , and a shower becomes a desperate need. The situation worsens with the disappearance of my checked luggage post-cancellation, met only with a fleeting apology from the front desk staff.
Why does the price of ticket go up when I add a 2nd person? I tried booking a flight at $89. Then I realized that I had only selected one person. So I added a second. the price is now $119 per person. Is there any way to get around this? 2 0 Share u/hiyawiggle2u r/flyfrontier: Discuss Frontier Airlines here

But wow they’re definitely the most budget plane I’ve flown ...
If you can get to the airport and talk to someone in person you’ll probably get the best info. Fly on a real airline. You can drive yourself to the airport and talk to an agent there. But you'll probably pay a $20 fee. try travel.flyfrontier.com to change/cancel your flight.
To Cancel or No-Show? I booked a round trip flight for about $97 with Frontier (didn’t buy any trip insurance). My circumstances have changed and I can no longer fly on those dates so I’ve booked a Delta flight instead. Is it more economical to no-show for the flight rather than cancelling ahead of time?
I recently flew Frontier (7/22) with a North Face backpack as my personal item. I was nervous because it measured very slightly larger than their guidelines for a personal item.
Just took my first flight with Frontier. Flight was dirt cheap at $60 but with added carry on and one checked luggage (one way because I'm bringing things home) - total became $208.
