My Windows Media Center(Win7/x64) is freezing up every 10-15 seconds or so when I play music through it, not accepting any input from mouse or my remote control for that time. Nevertheless, streaming services killed off Windows Media Center (and its competitors at the time.) Among the more successful survivors is Plex. Preparation is the nemesis of failure.
